  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside at Tavistock. I have a Curate, the Revd Mr. Richard Sleeman, who resides likewise at Tavistock, having the care of the Grammar School there. your Lordship's Predecessor consented to his Serving the Curacy, but would not Licence him, because he had a Licence to Serve the perpetual Curacy of Brentorr, adjoining to Tavistock. I pay him Thirty pounds a year. I have not any Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have the vicarage of Tavistock adjoining to Petertavy.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform divine Service at Tavistock & Petertavy alternately, except when the Sacrament <of the Lord's Supper> is administered at Tavistock & on extraordinary occasions, when I am always at Tavistock. I perform Divine Service at no other Church.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice on the Lord's Day with a Sermon in the morning & Afternoon during Summer, when I am at Petertavy; when Mr Sleeman officiates there Divine Service is performed with a Sermon in the morning, & in the afternoon Mr. Sleeman is usually thro' the whole year on these Sundays at Brentorr. In the Winter for the last two or three years, as my health hath been very indifferent, & very few attended in the afternoon (a great part of the Parishioners living at a distance from the Church) I have generally returned to Tavistock immediately after morning Service & Sermon.

  5. Frequency of communion: Six times in the year. The number of Communicants at Easter was about Twenty. They are in general not so many.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have.

  9. Number of families: about Forty.

  10. Chapels: There is not any Chapel within this Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: We have none.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have only a small house for the poor; which is properly managed. There is no parochial Library.

  13. Charity: No.
